An Acoustic Venue Experience Worth Remembering.
Moments at The Acoustic Spoon are treasured by all who’ve participated the past two years, from performers to audience to leaders and techs. There is a magic unlike anywhere else in Memphis and that magic is a new found freedom to truly relax and enjoy yourself among friends and friends to be.
As a college venue, primarily, we close each year for the summer break and normally reopen in August. So quite a few people were disappointed to find our doors closed this fall. But hold on to your tea and coffee cups, because we are preparing for Phase III under an expanded team of young leaders who bring a mixture of talents, skills, and vision. The Acoustic Spoon is a haven for students and career-minded young adults because of its casual, inviting, ‘no agenda’ and non-commercial atmosphere. It is everything ‘indie’ and unique and has great reflections of midtown charm.
So dig in and subscribe to our blog (RSS Feed) so you’ll be “in the know” about new developments as they surface. There will likely be planning and decorating parties for those of you with ”nothin’ but love for us to come bring your talents and help us prepare the way for the new launch.
